GoldenHills is owned by Michael and Christine
Aldeguer of Cebu City, Philippines. They acquired their first Golden
Retriever in 1992 and formally established the GoldenHills Kennel. Over
the years, they have imported their breeding stock from top breeders
in the United States of America and Canada. GoldenHills is a registered
member of the Golden Retriever Club of America (GRCA), the Golden Retriever
Club of Canada (GRCC), the International Golden Retriever Alliance (IGRA)
and the Philippine Golden Retriever Club (PGRC). They have also been
members of the Philippine Canine Club, Inc. (PCCI) and has served as
Officers and Directors of the Kennel Club of Cebu, Inc. (KCCI).
Michael and Christine Aldeguer attended the Golden Retriever National Specialty in America in 1998, 2001 and 2004. They have also attended numerous times Golden Retriever Specialty Shows in the States like the Greater Los Angeles Specialty Show in 1996 & 1997, the Norcal Specialty Show in 1997 and 1998. The Evergreen Specialty Show in Seattle in 1999 and the San Diego Specialty Show in November 2003. They attended the prestigious Golden Retriever Seminar in 1998 which had the most distinguished panelists assembled in one affair – Judge Ms. Marcia Schler, the author of “The Golden Retriever Standard Blue Book”, Judge Ms. Ludell Beckwith of Beckwith Goldens, Judge Ms. Nancy Talbott of BelGold, Judge Ms. Connie Gerstner of Malagold, Judge Mr. Jeffrey Pepper of PepperHill, Judge Ms. Jackie Mertens of Topbrass and one of the top handlers in America, Ms. Gretchen Schultz. The GoldenHills lines go back to the famous RushHill Kennel of Seattle, U.S.A. Home of “KIRBY”, BIS BISS Am.Can.Ch. RushHill Haagen Daz SDHF OS, the Top winning Specialty Golden and the Top producing Golden in America of all time with over 120 American Champions produced and the reputable Pacificgold Kennel of British Columbia, Canada. Home of “BROOKS”, BIS BISS Am.Can.Ch. Pacificgold the Dance SDHF OS, the 1996 No. 1 Golden Retriever in Canada and the Top Producing Canadian bred Golden in Canada for the breed. For the past years, Michael and Christine have been working with their mentors, Ms. Tonya Struble of RushHill and Ms. Carol Morrison of Pacificgold in establishing the GoldenHills Breeding Program which strives for Structure, Soundness and Temperament. GoldenHills has bred Multiple Group Winners and a Best in Show winner – all in selective breeding.
